Frequently Asked Questions

When can I set up for my event?

TASM is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday until 4 PM. Please contact our Event Coordinator to schedule your setup and teardown times accordingly.

Are any decorations included?

Customers are responsible for providing all decorations, as well as removal of decorations by the end of the rental agreement.  All decorations should be table or free standing, as no items may be taped or affixed in any way to the walls, aircraft, or exhibits.

What clean-up is required following an event?

We ask that all customers leave the venue in the same condition as when they arrived. Tables, chairs, and linens may remain in place. If the kitchen is used, it must be cleaned and restored to its original condition. Most caterers will handle this as part of their service. Additional cleanup may include vacuuming, taking out the trash, and removing any decorations you brought.

Please note: if the venue is not cleaned to museum standards, a cleaning fee of up to $500 may be assessed, depending on the size and condition of the space.

When is payment due?

If you book your event more than 30 days in advance, a 50% deposit is due when you book. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event. If you book within 30 days of your event, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

Can I have food at my event?

Your event can be fully catered, have food delivered by a local restaurant, or include food and snacks you provide yourself. Please coordinate all food plans with the Event Coordinator in advance. If you are using a caterer, be sure to verify them with the Event Coordinator to confirm there are no restrictions or special requirements.

Can alcohol be served at my event?

Alcohol is allowed at your event, but it must be served by a licensed bartender. Most catering companies can provide a licensed bartender.

Can I have my Wedding/reception at Tasm?

Yes, we’d love to host your wedding/reception at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum!  A day-of planner or coordinator is required for your wedding rental. Please fill out our Venue Rental Request form or call for more information!

Can i book an event for more than 200 guests?

Yes, we can accommodate events with more than 200 guests. Please contact our Event Coordinator for more information and to discuss your event needs.
