About the exhibit

Trained to be combat pilots with limited equipment and resources, the Tuskegee Airmen became heroes with their ground-breaking roles and excellent flying ability.  This exhibition will emphasize individuals such as Daniel “Cappie” James, Benjiman O. Davis, and Yancy Williams.

Introducing the

T-7A RED HAWK

The brand new T-7A Red Hawk, designed for the U.S. Air Force, will train the next generation of fighter and bomber pilots for decades to come. This model pays homage to the heroism displayed by the Tuskegee Airmen in WWII. Appreciation to BOEING for providing the T-7A Red Hawk model.

The program is funded in part by Oklahoma Humanities (OH) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).  Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in this program do not necessarily represent those of OH or NEH.
