While we are unable to provide physical badges, our engaging programs and expert guidance will help your troop achieve the requirements needed to earn their badges. Aviation (BSA)

This program meets the requirements of the Aviation Merit Badge for Boy Scouts of America. In this course you will learn all about the forces of flight on an aircraft, read an aeronautical chart and plan a flight course, build a model glider, and learn about the many career opportunities in aviation!

Museum access & activities (no planetarium show)
Cost: $14 (12 & under); $17 (13 & over)
Supervising adults are charged general admission but not activity price. Planetarium show can be added on for additional price.

Aerospace Adventure (GSEOK)

This patch was created by GSEOK and Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust to introduce more girls to the vast opportunities to pursue a career in aviation and aerospace here in Oklahoma. In this workshop, you will learn about the four forces of flight that affect aircraft, research aerospace careers, try your hand at flying a simulator, and learn about other women who have made history in aviation and aerospace!

Space Exploration Badges

Astronomy (BSA)

This program meets the requirements of the Astronomy Merit Badge for Boy Scouts of America. In this course you will learn about light pollution and the tools used to observe the night sky, identify constellations and visible planets, discover the composition of the sun, and watch a space-themed planetarium show!

One planetarium show & activities (no museum access)

Space Exploration (BSA)

This program meets the requirements of the Space Exploration Merit Badge for Boy Scouts of America. In this course you will learn the history of space exploration, build and label a model rocket, explain how rocket engines work, and explore the various careers and duties of real-world space explorers!

Space Science Adventurer (GSA)

This program meets the requirements of the Space Science Adventurer badge for Girl Scouts of America. In this course you will name the planets, observe the night sky, study the moon, and watch a space-themed planetarium show!
