TASM Annual 2023 Runway Run 5K & Fun Run/Walk will be on March 25 (registration form click here)
Girls (grades, 5-12) from Title I Schools, underserved populations, and currently enrolled in high school aviation classes will participate in this exciting & interactive day of activity to celebrate careers in aerospace. Aviation schools, colleges, businesses, and military recruiters will provide an interactive career fair & STEM activities to inspire young women to enter the Oklahoma aviation career pipeline.
Special Guest: Eileen Collins who was the First Female Shuttle Commander
Saturday, March 25, 2023, 7:00 AM Doors Open, 8:30 am 5K Begins, 9:30 Fun Run/Walk Begins, 10:00 5K Award Ceremony (after race results are calculated) Eileen Collins presentation #1 (up to 100 girls), 10:30 STEM activities begin, 11:00 Eileen Collins will be Presenting followed by Eileen Collins book signing, College & Career Fair & STEM activities open.
